I did a Google search years ago for a long term BOB and found Offcamber's INCH bag post. It was literally one of the first responses under Google Images. I kept finding myself coming back to this forum and perusing the entries. Since then, I have become a fan of Woods Walker, Moab, and virtually anyone else who takes time to post well thought-out entries backed up with practice.

So what do you mostly prepare for?

For me, I mostly prepare for natural disasters and aliens. Ok, not aliens. But there are a few other things I"m looking at. Economic issues are something which concern me, so I'm trying to get myself ready for those too.

Woodsgoast, economic issues also concern me but right now I have been focusing mostly on natural disasters. Whatever the cause, people just don't act right when the power goes off. I am right now in the beginning stages of preparedness and am doing research and making small purchases that hopefully will put my family in a better position.
