I might be inclined to say it looks good, but I don't see any of the images posted.

But keep up the good work, it sounds like it's killer!

Not sure why you cannot see them as I know others can. Sometime when I am at work the firewalls there have blocke images and videos.

Thanks for the compliments!

The offset blocks for the swaybar have been installed and I now have the swaybar back into the 4Runner.

The block goes in first and serves to move the swaybar a little forward so as not to contact the coilover.

Here is what it looks like with the OEM Right Hand Bracket and swaybar reinstalled

I've completed a couple more mods from my list of off-road/camping/expedition/overlanding/bling! requirements

On board air compressor

I finished up the mechanical part of the compressor install

Here is the compressor's bracket fastened to the thick aluminum base plate. I keep a box of miscellaneous metal plates and angle which get repurposed into things I need for the 4Runner or trailer.
Image

This view shows the dense foam vibration absorption layer between the metal plates.
Image

How the compressor looked on the plate during a test fit. Note that I had swapped out the OEM white plastic connector for a 45 Amp Anderson Power Pole connector. The original connector developed corrosion on the contacts, overheated and melted.
Image

Compressor is installed! The pressure switch and outlet are screwed in too.

Trailer brake controller

Next was installing the controller for the ORT's electric brakes: Tekonsha Prodigy P2

It was time to "tear" open the dash. Similar to the last 4Runner there is a good spot on the bottom left of the dash. Toyota has the truck pre-wired with a connector so as to make it an easy plug-n-play install. Most of my efforts centered around the mechanical installation which meant opening up the dash.
I fabbed a simple bracket, fastened it to the metal sub-frame of the dash and routed the cable.

Always hard to tear into a new car!

Install complete! It's out of the way yet easily accessible.

Camping at 10,400' in the Inyo National Forest at an area called Coyote Flats. Some pretty good 4wheeling just to get to this spot and lots of great hiking too. I am working on a full report at my blog and will have more pix when it is complete.

Good times. Gives me a sad because I have not done any high elevation camping in nearly 20 years. I always liked how quiet it was.

Any pictures from past high elevation trips? Would be cool to see.

Nothing digital. We were still using film back then.
