James M from San Antonio TX
Hello I'm James, 25 work full time as a 3d printing operator, and lab test equipment programmer with a back ground in CNC Mill operation and mill tool design.
I'm in the San Antonio area, and was wondering if there were any active groups around. ZSC:030 looks to be the closest but no posts since 2015 so....
I do know that somebody around the south side of town is a part of this group, I've seen their all black hummer with the ZS logo driving around many times.
Anyways I'm curious about joining a nearby group or maybe helping start one up. Let me know if interested. I know a local makerspace that would be good for hosting the meetings.

There was a Texas group, but it isn't exactly active. There's still a few of us wandering around, though!

Re: James M from San Antonio TX
I have a hunch that more Texans might be coming around to the view that emergency preparedness is a good thing. Nothing I can put my finger on...just a hunch.
Re: James M from San Antonio TX
the problem with "a" Texas group - is that folks tend to forget how big Texas is, and how it's laid out.
30 had some great folks, but it's hard to so much when you've got folks in Lubbock who are closer to Canada than to Houston, or the Folks in el Paso who can get to California faster than Longview.
We would need 4 or 5 regions to make it work. Houston and San Antonio can share, the panhandle gets it's own, DFW and east, central for the big country and rolling plains, Austin can stay wierd all by it's lonesome
Welcome James. I was in San Antonio friday; headed to houston. Got popoulis to go - and avoided rhe gas "crisis". welcome to the board from Abilene

Welcome! Hope you are able to wrangle a group together.

Welcome to ZS. Even if you do not have local Texas folks to interact with you will find the ZS Forum to be of immense utility for your preparedness choices.
