That might work for PC, but I'm playing on Xbox One, Jor-El.jor-el wrote:Look at the .ini file in My Games/Fallout 4.
The autosave is set to activate by default every 10 minutes as well as after every wakeup from sleep and a few other places. At 4mb apiece with only a few mods activated that's at least 24-25mb/hour.
With lots of mods and a lot of ingame conditions altered like having all your settlements populated to 20+ and fully outfitted with armor sets and weapons, your saves should be more like 100mb apiece. 10 hours of gaming could bulk up to 6gb in saves.
I would set autosave to something like once an hour or more. And try to clean up the autosaves before shutting down. In the folder the autosaves are clearly marked.
I deleted a bunch of old game saves and disabled the save on wait and rest options so I can avoid the issue I had before.
I also found a secret trader near Fairlane (or is it Fairline ?) Estates. You follow a path from a broken tree until you find a cage with a dog in it. Unlock the cage (it's an advanced lock so make sure your lockpicking skill is high enough) and fight off the two hunters who spawn, making sure they don't kill the dog. After they're dead, follow the dog for a little bit and he'll lead you to a trailer with a lady named Eleanor. She's the trader and stocks a ton of ammo.
