Recently acquired a surprisingly great condition used Ruger P94 DAO 9mm. Expecting a SW model 4043 also in DAO soon.
I'll retire my SIG P250 (40) in favor for Glock 22 for duty carry at work. Before long I may pick up Glock 21sf to compliment the 22.

I'm about to buy my first rifle so that's where my mind is.
Either a Weatherby Vanguard (my wallet would like that) or a Sauer 202 (my heart would like that).
I'll probably settle for a Tikka T3 because I can't make my mind up... In .308W anyway.

Probably going to order a Marlin 1895SBL in the next few weeks. Need to get a loading setup for 45/70 as well.

Saw a used Tikka 695 in .30-06 on sale in a town nearby today. Think I'm going to go there this week and ask to testfire it. (It's a rural gunshop that has it's own range.)

A Kahr CM9, a 11.5" 5.56 upper, some flavor of Savage with accutrigger in .270, and my CHL.

Not lusting so much as dreaming they'll make one soon, the Ruger Precision Rifle in 308 with a left handed action.
I've sold several of these and shot them from both shoulders and it works from the left but not as nicely as from the right. I would love a dedicated LH action on one.
Until then...

Who does not want a 20mm auto cannon that is only 13kgs.
But serious I would love a FN Fal long barrel with a bipod and a good scope

Re: What are YOU currently lusting after? (firearms related)
I've wanted some cap and ball revolvers for a while.
I'd like a Colt Dragoon, because of True Grit. I also read recently that Harriett Tubman had one, but I haven't been able to confirm that.
I'd like a pepperbox revolver, but it seems like there is only a junky kit gun and then originals.

I'm kinda hot for a dedicated rimfire can. I had planned on buying a combo lathe and mill and making one, but I've dumped all my saved fun money in to building a 30"x40" metal garage. A mall ninja'ed out 22/45 would be super-badass and cool.
It stops being funny when it starts being you.

Really liking the Sako TRG-22 in 6.5 Creedmoor.
It's not looting if you leave a note.

Currently an auction on an H&R 999 that's the exact model I want and it's in nice condition.

I'm shopping around and debating on an integral 9mm upper, .22 can or an integral 10/22 barrel - trying to track down if Huntertown ever started production on their 10/22TD integral.brothaman wrote:I'm kinda hot for a dedicated rimfire can.
I know the answer is all of the above, but which one first?

I'm looking at the Thompson Wasp. I'm specifically going for a tiny setup. If I weren't, I'd go for a small 9mm can that I could run on a 22. I have shot that Huntertown 9mm can on 9mm and a 22lr rifle. I think its good to go. So a 9mm can might be your best start. If I were looking for a a small 9mm can, I want the Thompson Poseidon. No the new one. The old one that looks like a dildo. Not that it performs better than anything else,.. just because I'm a super sexual being.Dogan wrote:I'm shopping around and debating on an integral 9mm upper, .22 can or an integral 10/22 barrel - trying to track down if Huntertown ever started production on their 10/22TD integral.brothaman wrote:I'm kinda hot for a dedicated rimfire can.

Re: What are YOU currently lusting after? (firearms related)
Today I have the list for a Smith and Wesson Model 617 with a 6" barrel. Have a nasty fixation on shooting volume .22, my shop seems to be overflowing with the stuff...
Also,a used Browning Buckmark came into the shop, I can pick it up for$150, so I might grab that as well or instead of a 617. but I REALLY WANT the 617, just might not be in the budget.

The simple answer, as I'm sure you know, is both. Get the Buckmark now, save for the 617 later.FreuderLocks wrote:Today I have the list for a Smith and Wesson Model 617 with a 6" barrel. Have a nasty fixation on shooting volume .22, my shop seems to be overflowing with the stuff...

Hey everyone:
I am currently lusting after a way to mount a scope on my SKS that does not use the dust cover & will allow me to use stripper clips. What can I say, I'm a dreamer...

Chiappa M1-9 (in walnut)
Springfield Armory M1A Standard (in walnut)
Thompson Center Compass (in .308)
Boyd's walnut stock for the compass
Walnut grips for my Beretta 92S
I think I like hard wood-
Oh, I need more mags.

I think Brass Stacker makes a mount that takes the place of the rear sight.MPMalloy wrote:Hey everyone:

On topic, I'd like to see Ruger make a .45 ACP version of the GP100.

Re: What are YOU currently lusting after? (firearms related)
I am lusting after a Gen 3 Glock 17 (I don't like the feel of the Gen 4), a Smith & Wesson M&P 22-15, and something for PCC like the CZ Scorpion Carbine or a AR 9mm that takes Glock mags.
