6" storm lake barrel came in. Gonna send it to tornado technologies in the future for a threading, but until then.... here it is.

New XDm 9mm unboxing
I picked up a new Springfield XDm 9mm 3.8" last night at my local gun shop.
I already have a XD 9mm subcompact that I carry, and I wanted a larger 9mm that can stay at home for HD.
So far, I'm very impressed with the XDm. First of all, the gun looks great. I love the styling. The grip feels very nice and I have a choice between 3 different size backstraps. It also comes with a case that is much nicer than the standard XD pistols, two 19rd magazines, paddle holster, mag hoslter, mag loader, and cable lock.
It also has the Trijicon night sights in all green. They are equal brightness to my Truglo TFO sights that I had installed on my XD subcompact.
I love it so far.....I hope to get some range time in the next couple weeks.
The case

What's in the box?

So far I've only got this .22 target piistol, my Beretta U22 NEOS & a few extra mags:

Fun stuff. I've got a Tasco Red-dot sight as well, but it's not attached in that photo. Doesn't fit in the box while affixed to it.
More to come.

Re: Show and Tell thread, Handgun edition
My M&P9 shooting at 170 yards. I was getting about a 12-16 inch group against an 8" steel popper (we had a spotter on a rifle with a 6-26x scope). I am very happy to say that I believe I could hit a man sized target at 170 yards if given time for each shot now that I know my hold overs for that distance. Aim small, miss small.

Thanks Anianna!

I havent seen one of these on here yet so i thought I would throw mine in.
I really like this gun, It has always shot very well for me and i have put lots and lots of really crappy ammo through it.
For some reason though they seem to have a bad rep.
