Hog killing class

Post by Zimmy » Sun Jun 18, 2017 12:25 pm

I've found a lot of people are interested in killing and processing hogs as a way to keep up the old skills.

I've got regular access to trapped wild hogs and want to know if anyone wants to come out and learn how to kill, field dress, de-hair, and skin a game animal.

These hogs are going to be small in the 30lb-75lb range.

Costs are minimal depending if I have had to feed them much. Generally $.50 per pound on the hoof plus $20 if I have to do the skinning without helpers.

Sing out if interested. We obviously won't be killing anything until fall weather arrives.

To use buzzwords: free range, organic, wild caught, non GMO and gluten free. :words:

It'll be cooling off soon. Y'all keep this in mind. There aren't many places to get to learn something and get meat at $0.50/pound.
