Re: Sawyer Mini Water Filter
Lots of people have the Sawyer mini. It is a good filter, and from what I have read, one of the best for the money. I certainly like it. Do you have more specific questions?

No specific questions. Just ran across it and was curious if others had any experience with them.

Re: Sawyer Mini Water Filter
I use one if I am outdoors and need water. There are probably several thousand reviews and videos about using it. The only complaint I have is that it seems every photo tries to make the cleaning plunger look much smaller than it is, and if you want to be sure to clean your filter you take it with you. It weighs almost nothing though. Unless you need one immediately, wait for sales. $15 is a reasonable price. I like that I can fill bottles while floating downstream in my boat. The Smart Water 33.8 oz bottles seem almost to be made for it, or vice versa.

The cleaning plunger is bigger than the filter itself.

BTW looks like you can get around the 'if its not your chapter you can't post' if you quote them.

Oh, sorry. Sometimes I run willy-nilly through stuff before surveying the damage, repairing damage, and then reading the instructions.

Related, the Lifestraw filter is on sale on Woot now for just $12.98, for the next 5 days or until sold out. It's normally about $20. Woot has a flat rate $5 shipping, no matter how much you order.
