Yup. Is amazing how fast they grow. Mine put on 6lb in 8 weeks.

Had many late nights? She is just starting to settle down this end and goes for about 6 hours without a feed.

To be honest he's not bad, we took him camping at 3 weeks old and he slept through the night, these days he gets grumpy if he doesn't get his bath, feed and bed at 8. He then wakes about 3 for a feed and a change and then sleeps till 8.

But as I spend most of my time on the road, I'm getting plenty sleep.

Yay!

I have known about that since the day I put it up. Only took 14 months for someone to notice it!

I'll have a pint of Doom Bar, please barman.

Had a busy week at work, a Friday noght out at a gig (for the first time in months!) followed by a busy-ish Saturday and I'm knackered. A couple of quiet drinks and it'll be bedtime for me!

Hope everything's OK when the morning comes around, and that the barn roof isn't too tricky to fix.

The roof of the barn and the shed will both need replaced, the barn is going to be the biggest job. We have a man coming on Saturday morning to give us an estimate.

No sign of the bad weather down here on the South East coast.

A bit windy earlier but nothing too bad.

Ok people I seeing the New Year in with the family (quite night in, but too many nights on the door and you go off party animals) so bars open serve yourself (drinks free till after midnight New Zealand time :D)

2014 was a somewhat “Unique” year for me and I didn’t get to spend as much time as I would have liked hanging out with you lot.

Let’s hope that if 2014 doesn’t give us what we want, it gives us what we need.

Happy New Year to you too. I'm having a quiet night in also as with my having a big birthday two weeks ago and it's attendant revelry followed immediately by Christmas I am skint, partied out and slightly queasy from 3 weeks of gluttony and too much alcohol.
Also the pregnant sheep come into to the lambing shed tomorrow and the madness of lambing season begins for another year :gonk:

Happy new year Wee

Lambing time again, cant say I miss it these days, some stupid gimmer steeling 30 lambs before she drops, then knocking off her own when it comes!!!!! Though I have to admit sitting in a drafty lambing shed at night beat wandering round a hill side in bleaching sleet.

Grew up on border hill farms (Dad was a Shepherd), on the hills we tended to work with either Scottish “Blackies” crossed with Blue Headed Leicester for the Mule or pure South Country Cheviot. Once Dad decided he was too old for the hill farms and moved in bye, it tended to be Mules crossed with the Suffolk.
