I'm interested as an Associate's member until I earn my Tech (or better) FCC license.

Is this thing still alive and kicking or did it finally roll over and die after so many attempts to save its life?I am legitimately interested to know if the ZSARC still exists and who is now heading up if it does. Last "Official" comments in this forum were over a year ago and everything since then has been people showing interest in joining the ARC. So DOES the ZSARC exist? and if it does who is handling membership rolls and other administrative actions at this point?

And... Call me interested as well. That being said - following on Zenshu's post, looks like the admins have taken a break and until they find themselves re-animated, let's nominate someone for netcontrol (not it).
Currently Mods for this are the Global mods, we may need to check with Whisk.e. to see if we can move one of our own in or how we need to advance.
This was the last officers list I could find, ~December 2013 - No one was nominated to take over the positions, My guess is that in absence of the Pres, Leia gets the job??

Current offices are held by:
President: NoAm
Vice-President: LtCmdLeia
Secretary: 44Dave
Treasurer: ke4yqd
Membership Officer: BEar667

The following users all posted in this thread and have been active since at least Jul 1.
In no particular order:
Myself
Zenshu
Neptune Glory
Purple_Mutant
trailhopper
Moose1247
SRO1911
ais4122
jdavidboyd
neubert500
paul_c
charadeur
Ambrose
interrogate

Moose1247
Bellranger
Doctor Jest

Tid & medic photog both seemed interested but didn't post in the thread.

Is there any interest in reviving ZSARC?

I am not sure anyone but the two of us are monitoring this thread anymore. Judging by the number of people asking for, interested in, or voting on the ZSARC patches I would say there appears to still be a lot of interest in the ARC, just not sure any of the people interested are paying attention to this thread anymore....We may need to see about getting the sign-up thread stickied on the communications forum and/or reaching out to some of the members from the original ARC, and/or promoting the ZSARC in the communications forum or finding some way to gauge interest/let people know we are trying to revive the ARC. Most of the conversations ABOUT the ZSARC and the ZSARC patches and everything are all going on in the Communications forum, but the threads about the ARC itself and attempts at bringing it back to life are stuck over in the chapters forum so I am thinking most of the people who are showing interest on the Commo forum don't even realize that this thread is here.

Most of ZSC-009 Las Vegas is interested if the net gets back going. Also, those patches are sexy in the terms of patches, they would be a hit here... we would definitely do a group buy if available. Not too sure how active we would be on the net though, we all work pretty sporatic hours, and even our weekly check-ins with the local ARES/RACES is getting sporatic, but we still give support on Field Day.

I'm interested if this is still active. I just passed my technician exam Saturday and my callsign is on the FCC website this morning!

i think the main issue was that, at the time, zs-arc had issues interfacing with and getting support from ZS as a whole, and that sort of wore away at it ( and it was never huge to begin with, at least not by the time I had gotten involved).

It *IS* well worth trying to get it revived, though.

Ambrose, I'm with you on this; I'd love to get ZSARC established as a real thing. I've sent out a few PMs about establishing a weekly/monthly net but have not gotten a reply.

I'm a new guy (just signed up) and a General Class licensed Ham Radio operator - KD8WWZ. I too would be interested.
