Sauna building weekend?

After looking at some plans and talking about it a bit, my son Ben and I have decided that we want to build a sauna in our woods this summer once school gets out...

My thinking was that if people are interested, we could make a ZSNY weekend of it...we live in 21 acres of woods adjoining 10,000 acres of state forest in the middle of the Adirondack Park...

People could come for all or part of the weekend, hang or tent in our woods (being private land allows for some bushcraft-type stuff that you cannot try on state land) and kick in some sweat-equity in exchange for food and/or drink to whatever degree they feel like...

We'll build the sauna either way, but I am a "learn by doing" kind of guy, and have built a cabin and a chicken barn on the property over the years...post if you think that you might be interested, and also with any other ideas that could make the weekend more fun or learntastic for you...

Sounds like it could be fun! Let us know firm(er) dates, as I'd need to see about work- if I still have a job by then. A sneak peek at your plans would be helpful, as I'd be willing to bring my plumbing tools and experience along, but I'd rather have an idea of what I can safely leave home. Even a Jeep has limits, lol.
