Post by bookwyrm » Sat Apr 16, 2011 3:20 pm

We are planning a meet-n-greet and urban hike on Saturday, May 14th in Richmond:

at General Sherman Crump Memorial Park (by the duck pond) to begin at 2pm--look for the "Beware of Zombie" signs

Hike to Dave & Buster's for dinner--general merriment to ensue at Dave & Busters

Bring yourself, your friends, your brains and join us for any/all of the fun!

Sorry, I won't be able to make it. Hopefully another time soon!
Does your BOB at least have: water, basic tools, fire, food, first-aid kit, and shelter?

BTW, May is Zombie Awareness Month, if you need another reason to join the party!

Can I get some cell numbers ? I would rather not burn up gas for nothing !!

If I am going to drive out there and meet up with you guys I would like to be able to get a hold of someone ?? Or, at least know where you guys are going to be, so I know who to look for. It has been 3 yrs ??. or so since we have met up, can't say I remember what everyone looks like.

We will look to do this again around thesame time in 2012. Stimpy showed up to support the good will, and beer and fun were had by all.

Same here. May is pretty hectic for me but with enough advance notice (2-3 months) I can work something out for 2012.

Looks like the 2012 Richmond Meet-n-Greet will be the 2nd weekend in June this year. We'll post a new thread once we confirm the date.
