It is absolutely insane for them to say they are making headway in peace talks while Taliban ramp up violence against civilians. I am the one of the first people to recommend diplomatic measures versus violence, but groups like this, willing to take out purely civilian sites as a power play...just feels like giving them the keys to the kingdom, so to speak. And claiming that they won't let the country descend into violence when they themselves are perpetuating massive amounts of violence. That's not diplomatic negotiations. It's just swallowing spoon-fed lies to absolve ourselves of guilt when everything goes up in flames.

Nothing incites greater righteous fury in me than people who are willing to bomb schools and hospitals to make a point.

I'd like to make a distinction here which is that they are not "making a point" they are actually implementing policy. Education for women and free elections are not allowed. The punishment for most crimes like that is death.

Once the US leaves it will be much worse than it was in Iraq after the pull out, which is why the US has not left yet. There will be a genocidal campaign that will make the holocaust look tame. This isn't hyperbole, this will actually happen.

Update: Second Israeli attack on Iranian targets in eastern Iraq reported by Iraqi sources.

https://www.debka.com/second-israeli-at ... i-sources/

A second Israeli attack in 10 days on Iranian Guards’ and Iraqi militia forces in eastern Iraq was claimed on Sunday, July 28 by Iraqi military sources. They described one or more Israeli Air Force jets striking Camp Ashraf in Diyala Governorate, some 80km from the Iranian border and 40km north of Baghdad. The Iraqi sources reported that the Israeli aircraft struck a consignment of ballistic missile launchers transferred a short time ago from Iran to Iraq. as well as the missiles themselves and the living quarters of Guards officers and personnel of the pro-Iranian Iraqi Badr Brigades militia. Some sources reported up to 40 dead in the attack.

Tehran sources: An Israeli Harop drone attacked pro-Iranian Iraqi militia base NE of Baghdad

https://www.debka.com/tehran-sources-an ... f-baghdad/

Iranian and Iraq intelligence sources claim an Israeli Harop UAV carried out the attack on the 52nd Brigade of the Hashd Shaabi militia on Friday, July 19. The attack struck the militia at a Badr Brigades camp outside Amerli town in the Salahudin Province northeast of Baghdad. The sources identify the fragments gathered at the site as belonging to the IAF’s Harop, a loitering combat unmanned vehicle, itself a flying bomb, developed by Israel’s Aerospace Industries. This drone is a stealth munition that can loiter for up to six hours before homing in on a target. It has a range of 1,000km. The Badr camp is about 900km from Israel.

CBS News - Hamza bin Laden, son of Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda heir apparent, believed to be killed in military operation

Pentagon — Osama bin Laden's son, Hamza, has been killed, eight years after U.S. forces killed his father. Hamza bin Laden was in line to head al Qaeda, the terror group founded by his father.

One official tells CBS News bin Laden is believed to have been killed in a military operation, although he was not the target of the operation and was not even known to be at that location.

Sometime later, officials say, U.S. intelligence monitored conversations among al Qaeda members about whether they should try to keep bin Laden's death a secret or acknowledge it and celebrate him as a martyr. It is unclear when or where the operation took place, although bin Laden was reported to be in either Pakistan or Afghanistan.

It's almost as though someone does not want Hezbollah to build up a huge depot of munitions from Iran in Iraq.

We should bomb them back to the stone age, but that might be an upgrade for them.

I always like hearing it when a drone is shot down. I think that is another guy that is going home to his family.

I just wanted to announce that the United States of America was not involved in the catastrophic accident during final launch preparations for the Safir SLV Launch at Semnan Launch Site One in Iran. I wish Iran best wishes and good luck in determining what happened at Site One.

They're smart, they'll have it figured out in no time. It's probably some bolt made in China they got off of the internet.

Man, if I had a Nickle for every time that happened.

I didn't discover until a few years ago that there are whole "factories" in the US that do nothing but test parts that come from China. Even with a dud rate of close to 50% it is still cheaper to have the Chinese make it sometimes, depending upon what it is. Then they take all the duds scrap them and reverse charges on them. It's a crazy system.
