So, guns and bullets are "non-prep" items for you?

Shredded flavored dried squid. Taste great and makes great bait. :)

I used to buy it at a local Japanese grocery store called Uwajimaya in Seattle. You can get it on amazon. But few flavors. I'm looking at local markets here in LA for some more.

I used to take it fishing with me. It's like chew. Except no tobacco. A wad of it last a long time in your mouth. And it tastes kinda like jerky.

We used to fish squid at the piers in Seattle by the big street lights. It attracted them. Love me some calamari! But shredded dried squid is the shit! Amazon has hot and smoke flavor someplace. Just search "dried shredded squid". But get one with a flavor.

I'd love to learn how to make it. There is a squid season in Seattle. You can catch buckets full in an evening. All you'd need is a brine and a food dehydrator.

For me it's Sriracha. I eat it on almost everything. Other than that I like to indulge in the Tapatio Hot Sauce or the Tapatio Salsa Picante Mexican Seasoning. That stuff is amazing on popcorn (or whatever you want really)...

My favorite is Arizona Gunslinger's Chipotle Habanero. It has a nice smokey taste.

I've had that, it is quite good, but if I remember that's an Arizona region sauce, but I might be remembering wrong. It's been a few years since I lived in Az. I also like El Yucateco Black Label Reserve Chile Habanero Hot Sauce which is sold at Wal-Mart. Very good on breakfast burrito's...
