Space weather for 9/6/2017 & 9/7/2017.

From FEMA:

Space weather:
○ Past 24 hours: MODERATE; Solar radiation storms reaching the S2 level occurred. Radio blackouts reaching the R1 level occurred
○ Next 24 hours: STRONG; Geomagnetic storms reaching the G3 level are likely. Solar radiation storms reaching the S1 level are expected. Radio blackouts reaching the R3 level are expected

CBC World at 6 reports that there will be aurora borealis as far south as Toronto tonight & next week.

Seeing the AB is something on my bucket list.
Fly up to Fairbanks in the spring and fall they are SUUUUUPER cool. Flying in you can almost feel the radiation mutating your genes! Excuse me while I go cut off this 3rd hand that's growing out my side. Joking aside, it is really cool to get up there and 35,000' and seeing them dance.
