It looked a lot more clear to me, but all I had was my celphone. Shortly after I took this, I heard that there was some damage at the airbase.

Hell. We're moving to AL, and I'm on the lookout for a house with either a shelter or a stout basement. In the latter case, I'm still gonna build a safe room/storm shelter.
When I was younger and didn't have a family, I'd chase the damned tornadoes myself. Since I got married and we had Zoe... I'm a lot more sensitive to risk.

As far as I know everyone is okay. NPR said that there are seven reported deaths in Arkansas though.

I've heard from some of the guys at the airport that some folks in Vilonia took shelter in a portable container.

It was tossed into a lake, and they said there were no survivors. Again, it's only hearsay so far, but I'm poking around to find out.

It's pretty important to note, though, that a good shelter needs to be solidly attached to, or buried in the ground.

So far Everyone around the Russellville area is all good. Vilonia stuff looks rough and thoughts and prayers go out to those who lost their friends and family there and all over our state from the flooding!.
