Also, didn't mean to hijack this thread... April 17th is on my calendar...
"People tend to not prepare until it is too late.. We live in a society that believes it is beneath them to do for themselves. Self-sufficiency was the dream of people escaping tyranny and poverty... The American dream is now luxury and convenience. Anything else is squalor, antisocial-insanity or amusing and pitiable eccentricity at best."

Unfortunately, it looks like I'll be making a last minute trip to Tulsa this Saturday, so I will be unable to attend. I'll keep my eyes out for the next event or scheduled meeting, though.

We should talk more about the hiking/camping. I'm down for Butterfield, never been there. Also Colt45 would be down.

Sorry to hear we've had a few that can't make it.
Anti and I will be there for sure. Plans are the same as the original date, just happenin tomorrow instead. Bring rain gear, might be needed!

Went well, and dry. We weren't able to cover much ground, but we had a good response, bringing our donation total to just over 120lbs. bloodymae, TheAntiAnti, tiberous, and I were there. It started to rain a little towards the end, but just enough to cool us off.

Since we only visited about a third of the neighborhood, a couple of us are going back out for a few hours tomorrow and Monday to finish up. The average yield for an hour is still at 33lbs per group. If anyone can make it out then, shoot me a message.

If anyone was able to collect donations independently, speak up! :)
