Let's take advantage of this hot, sticky, rain filled weather (people call it nice :gonk:), and spend a day at the range!

Silverdale is the range of choice, with the most discipline options to everyone. Map and info are at the link. Cost of admission is $20 for the day, plus the cost of ammo. Our members will be bringing out a variety of firearms, rifle, shotgun, pistol, .22 to 12 Gauge. If you want to try something specific, ask here, we have several members with extensive collections, so odds are you can find what you want to try amongst us.

We're looking into the ability to use a BBQ on site. If that doesn't pan out, there are burgers available for sale on location and pop machines at a modest charge. Of course bagged lunches are allowed, and we encourage people to bring water for themselves for the day.

Quick packing list, for those who haven't been before:
- Water
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray
- Eye Protection (sunglasses are acceptable)
- Ear protection (plugs are provided by the range, but if you have access to something you're more comfortable with, bring 'em)

If you are a non PAL holder, we would prefer if you had been in contact with us prior to the event, there is a bit of liability in putting a firearm in someone's hands, and it's just easier if we've met in person. If you have a PAL and are looking to meet up with some firearms enthusiasts, come on out.

DOH!
Yes, and the range opens at 9, and they tend to be rather busy on weekends, so getting in early is the best bet.
