Barsoom. I hear the folks are friendly there.

Prague. I hear that is a beautiful city. Old, old Europe. And Turkey. There's supposed to be some amazing sights in Turkey.
Basically anywhere that's different. I used to travel; a long time ago. Just assumed I'd always be travelling abroad, at least every five years or so. Funny how life and obligations and bills kind of have a way of putting a kabosh on those silly young adult dreams.

For my travel, I'd saddle up with Herman Cain and visit Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan.

I love Europe. I could spend a month there every year for the rest of my life and never be bored, or see the same things twice.

Mars... I'd find the old lander, dress it up like an alien robot and sneak it in front of the new one as it took pictures...
Also... I'd paint a mustache on the "face"... And write "bring back Art Bell" beside it...
I miss Art... no one can do his show like he did...
Here on earth? Probably Scotland... grab a beer and watch a game (actual football, not this thing where they add all the rules in and force folks to wear all that padding in what is basically Rugby "light"...) Visit some family related places, then come back home...

Prague is pretty cool, but I have not been since the wall came down...
Turkey was great too, spent 2 months there. Antalya was my favorite city. Mainly because of the beaches.
For me at this point, the top of my list is Ecuador and Peru, with a side trip of sailing on Lake Titicaca Lake Titicaca Lake Titicaca
I like saying that...

Can I choose anywhen? Lots of options there. Sermon on the Mount, The Alamo, Thermopylae, maybe scribble Zimmy on the Declaration of Independance (US and Texas versions).
This time only? If any of my buddies in the Army are still in, I'd like to be beside them again.
If they aren't, Chile seems interesting geographically. Glaciers, jungles, beaches, surfing all within a couple of hours of each other. Senoritas never hurt things either.

Probably somewhere in the USA, seeing as Norway is turning into a very small soviet union, day by day
Although, i assume there are very few countries in the industrialized world where there`s still a lot of personal freedom. Yay mortgages bills and laws on the shape of fruit!

I spent some time in Scotland a few years ago and would give anything for a chance to go back. I love the culture and the lifestyle. The conditions are quite harsh but that adds to its majesty.

This side of the atmosphere, I would like to spend a few months packing down the limpopo river - if time re-adjustment was possible I would try to get one of the great guides - seldin, taylor, capstick, bell, any of them would do.

Japan.
My father was in the Merchant Navy as a young man and had the good fortune to go twice. It's just about the only place he's been to - and he's been to a lot of places! - that he'd love to go back to. Some of that must have rubbed off on me because it's somewhere I've always wanted to go.

Northern Laos. Everybody is friendly and carrying a gun. Loved it there. Muzzle loading black powder hunting, nice rivers, cheap as chips.

If the 'Zombie Apocalypse' started today, how would you know somebody wasn't just filming a movie?

I spent a lot of time in Mallorca, Spain back in the 70's and wouldn't mind going back for a visit.
