Camp Chef Stryker series products

Post by norcalprep » Thu Oct 15, 2015 1:39 am

Hi all,

Does anybody have any experience with the Camp Chef Stryker series of products? It looks like it's a "competitor" to JetBoil, but they also have one variation that runs on 1lb propane bottles. That's a nice new feature for those of us with a bunch of 1lb bottles.

Of particular interest to me is pot and kettle accessory for it. It looks like they have the fins on the bottom which I'd imagine to be more efficient in capturing heat. Seems like it can be useful even if not over a Stryker/JetBoil product.

Has anybody tried these out before? How is the quality of Camp Chef in general?

Thanks!

If it was just one generic Jetboil that ran on propane and iso-butane canister then that would be the ticket.

They are different models. But I did find this. As low a $15:00 shipped on ebay. You could use this on any IsoButane canister stove. Might require some testing.
