Anyone got any good ideas? I've a vacuum sealer, a dehydrator, mylar bags and a pretty well equipped kitchen.
Insert here a quote, Hemingway or Orwell, maybe Atwood that will really, really irritate someone.

Yeah, it's full of ideas but it's about how to make commercial products into a facsimile of an MRE.
I'm looking at doing it from scratch.

It'll probably involve dehydration (and therefore not be a Meal READY to Eat). But I want to make/package a 24 hour ration myself.
