READ ME FIRST before using this forum to buy/sell anything

Post by kyle » Mon Jun 20, 2005 8:18 am

A lot of us in here have similar interests and hobbies so we can probably easily find someone to buy our old junk! This forum is the place to get rid of it.

Please keep in mind that Zombie Squad, Inc. has nothing to do with the transactions on this trading post section of forum. You buy, sell, trade, advertise at YOUR OWN RISK. We have no way to monitor any transactions that takes place.

Before you read any further, please read the new policy here: New Trading Post Policies

For Sellers:
Unfortunately, we cannot allow anyone to use this forum directly to sell non-Zombie Squad approved merchandise. We can't be held responsible in the event that a seller or buyer is negligent in upholding their end of a business transaction. We have no way of verifying anyone's credibility. This isn't ebay.

However, if you have a personal website (or ebay store, gunbroker account, etc.) with items to sell that are related to this forum then you're welcome to post a link to it just like everyone else. Please post any links to the items you are selling. A description and pictures might be good, too.

As a courtesy, please edit the title and mark it as "SOLD" once it is.

Good luck!

For Buyers:
Zombie Squad is not responsible for anything that happens before, during or after the sale. Also, just because someone paid $15 to get a ZS member tag on their forum account to support the community does NOT automatically make them credible in anyway. Please keep that in mind and be careful. You might consider looking in this forum section to see if there are any complaints about the seller.

If you really got screwed, please make it known and ZS may be able to step in to make sure it doesn't happen again. We don't want anyone abusing our members or this forum.

For Everyone:
Since Zombie Squad is not responsible for the actions of buyers or sellers, we encourage everyone to please review your seller/buyer. If you have had bad service or if you got a great deal from someone, be sure to mention that in the seller's thread. This will give everyone a way to look up past sales of a user.

In short: Zombie Squad is not responsible for anything that happens before, during or after a private sale.

Lads:

To clean up this section a little bit, we're asking you to mark your items's as SOLD if they are indeed sold/auction has ended.

To recap, we'd like your threads to appear like this:

1990 Yugo XLT---SOLD (or something similar)

Thanks,

The management.

I'm very glad people are using this resource to share stuff with their ZS Community. Hell, I've gotten a few good deals in here from other members myself. Please keep it up.

However, I'd like to remind everyone about our policy. See above.

Sellers:

A quick PSA:

When selling potentially restricted items to members, please note that the burden of proof rests upon the sellers shoulders and not on Zombie Squad in any way shape or form.

In explanation, in the selling of potentially restricted items such as Knives, Magazines, Clips, Firearm parts or any and all other similar articles, it is the sellers responsibility to ensure the buyer has no legal obligations that would prevent him/her from purchasing and owning such items.

Thanks, if you have any questions, please feel free to PM the staff.

I'd like to remind people about our policy on selling items on the ZS forums. See above.

Also, I'd like to remind members that Zombie Squad can NOT be held responsible if you are cheated as a buyer or a seller. There is no way we can check backgrounds of the buyers or sellers so you are buying and selling at YOUR OWN RISK.

We would recommend you only go through a service such at Ebay, gunbroker or other reputable online auction website where there is limited insurance and seller/buyer ratings and history are recorded.

Upgraded policy re: Selling Firearms on Zombie Squad's forum/website.

Please be advised that at this time, we at ZS would prefer not to have direct links to firearm sales. We are first and foremost a charity organization and while nearly all of us are proud gun toting individuals, we'd prefer to separate ZS and firearm sales if possible.

Henceforth, we are requesting that members who want to sell firearms provide an outside website link to their firearm sale. For example, a link to Gunbroker or wherever you choose to sell you firearm off site will work. Simply toss that link into your ad in the Zombie Squad Trading Post and we're good to go.

Thanks for your patience and understanding in this matter.
