I have an engine out of a 97 XJ, ready for machining. Has roughly 275,000 miles on it.

I decided to rebuild it because it had developed a knock, and wasn't running to well. I am a backyard mechanic and I learn by doing, and an engine rebuild is about the only thing I've yet to do. Sounded like fun.

Long story short, I got a deal on a crate motor, saving me a few bucks and more than a few hours of labor. Win win.

So now I've got a extra engine on my hands. It's been pulled apart and I didn't find anything major, at least not that I could tell. Should just need a trip to the machine shop.

I believe the bores are tapered, and in the interest of full disclosure, like a moron I some how managed to mix up the rod caps, and the cylinders.

Engine, head, and all internal parts are included.

No reasonable offer will be refused. Prefer cash, possibly trade.

I'd rather sell it all at once, but if you just want the block, or the head I could possibly be talked into it.

Located in Lowell Indiana. I want to say pick up only, but for an additional fee, or barter, I may be willing to deliver, so long as it's within a few hours.
