Hey guys, I forgot to post this here, but if anyone is interested in helping, instructions are below! Thanks for looking!

Official COZS Blankets for the Needy Drive:

What: Wal-mart has fleece blankets for $2.88 each + tax - I am gathering funds, going to purchase as many as I can, and then either hand them out, or donate them to a shelter (if we do it in person, anyone is welcome to come if they want!) 2 ideas on the donation...#1 hand them out on the street to people that need them, or #2 there is a battered women's shelter that needs a lot of stuff, possible donation to them. What say you my fellow ZS'ers?

When: Collection for funds will run until Feb 20th - so that gives us 1 month to be able to donate.

How: You can donate to the COZS paypal account. This makes it fast, safe and easy. (If you don't have paypal, we can figure something else out too!)

COZS DONATION LINK -----> https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=FSV9TPM78P7RU

Where: From the comfort of your own home! Yep its THAT easy and comfortable!

Another idea for donating blankets is for kids that have to be rescued (like from domestic violence situations):

Edit: As for a bulk discount when buying these! You can probably get even more than you expect. I have bargained successfully at Walmart on much smaller purchases, so I bet you can get an easy deal.

How did this project go? Our local ZS group is thinking of making little kits for newborns to give to women's shelters.

Went pretty well, we were able to get 60 blankets for the needy.
