Re: Donate to the Zombie Squad's Disaster Relief Fund for Ja
OK, due to the speed in which you guys are adding to this drive, we are making a slight change. Since we are covering all the paypal fees we have to budget for a goal.
This drive will last for 30 days (ending April 15th) or until we hit $10,000.00 - whichever comes first!
Let's hit this goal!! Spread the word!!
As of 09:00 CDT on 16-March-2011 we have raised a total of $2,029.00 thanks to 38 donors!

The new badge seems to remove paid membership status....kyle wrote:Unfortunately, there isn't an easy way to tie the donations given to setting up the forum badges so it has to be done manually. So, bare with us. We'll probably do them daily.
Also, if you forget to put your forum name in with the donation, drop an email to charity@zombiehunters.org with your forum name and the name the payment cam in as on Paypal and someone will hook you up.

Yeah. Can't do much about that with the limited space. If you would rather have the ZS Member banner I can switch it back for you. Just let me know.
However, you should still have ZS membership access (ZS members-only forum, Trading Post, etc.). If that's not true, please let me know.

Re: Donate to the Zombie Squad's Disaster Relief Fund for Ja
When I donated I did so on behalf of my sons and I. Since I believe that this disaster affects all of us, if by the economy only, I'll be donating again at pay day on behalf of the rest of my family members. Whatever I have left will go to family preps.
This whole thing has me going over our whole family's plans, talking to the boys and showing them where everything is and how to use it. I have also been talking with friends and neighbors about setting things aside for national/regional emergency. I just feel there is more we can do than just give some money to help ourselves out.
BTW: I'm impressed with how much has been raised so quickly compared to the other drives. I hope the thousands of other ZS members and lurkers can pony up their lunch money to help.

I hope everyone will contribute something, even a $5 donation can make a big difference. I assume that non members can donate as well, and encourage you to do so.

Re: Donate to the Zombie Squad's Disaster Relief Fund for Ja
Is there any other way to donate, like a direct bank transfer or whatever it´s called when i send money directly from my bank account to a ZS account?
I was at the paypal site, but no... i´ll NOT get a paypal account, no thanks. I don´t have any cheque and wouldn´t know how to use them properly anyway. That money order thing: i´m at loss what it is at all? I suspect it could be what i´m asking, but then again i didn´t see any banking data in the OP, only a postal address...

You DO NOT need a paypal account. We have a business paypal account so you have the option to simply pay with a debit/credit card without creating a paypal account. There is an option for it. Let me know if you have any questions.
We are not currently set up to accept direct bank transfers. You can mail a money order if you are not comfortable using a credit card on paypal's website.
