Get them while they're hot! http://www.zombiehunters.org/nalgene2010.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

UPDATE: Total donation sent to Action Against Hunger is $1500.00 Thanks everyone!!

It's the time of year when many people's minds turn to charity. Zombie Squad HQ is raising funds for Action Against Hunger during the month of November. This charity, suggested by our Chicagoland chapter works to combat malnutrition worldwide, and to provide "communities with access to safe water and sustainable solutions to hunger."

During the month of November we are selling a limited edition 32 ounce Nalgene bottle featuring the Brian logo. We will accept orders through the end of the month. We will only produce enough of the limited edition bottles to fulfill the orders received before 11/30/10.

Each bottle costs $20. All profits will be donated to Action Against Hunger. All bottles will be shipped in early December. Just in time for Wintergheddon or your office Christmas party.

So order today. Help fight hunger and promote hydration all in one click.

SHIPPING WILL BE ONLY $3 TO ANYPLACE IN THE US UNTIL NOV 15th. THIS IS A SPECIAL EDITION ORDER AND WILL BE MAILED OUT THE BEGINNING OF DECEMBER.

Sorry for all the yelling. I just wanted to make that clear.

To answer the questions about shipping costs from Private Messages and posts in this thread:

"Why is the shipping $3 until November 15"
We are doing this because we are trying to encourage people to buy them early. On Nov 15th we will be placing the order for the bottles, to make sure they get to us by early Dec, and we hope to have a decent estimate of how many we need to order to meet demand.

Yes, we are eating the extra cost of shipping in hopes you guys will order them early so we do not under order. So, if any of you guys want one of these, you will be doing us a favor if you can buy it before Nov 15 rather than later. :)

"and what will shipping be after the 15?"
The cheaper shipping of $3 will last until Nov 15. After that, shipping will be around $5 or $6 (whatever USPS Priority is). All will be shipped the first week of Dec via Priority mail to make sure you all get them by mid Dec.

"How much is going to charity?"
We will be taking out the cost of the bottle (plus taxes and shipping to us) which should leave about $10+ a bottle to charity. As usual Zombie Squad will be covering the pay pal fees and we will be covering a portion of the shipping until Nov 15.

As we always do, we will be keeping a tally of what we are racking up for charity - probably once a week I'll update the numbers.

"any chance of getting these without the zombies?"

After this limited edition run we plan to regularly sell a ZS logo Nalgene. More info on that later. It will probably be early spring before those are available though.

Hey all,
Please remember when ordering these Nalgenes that if you combine any other items with this purchase, the order will not be shipped until mid December. If you are wanting a t-shirt, sticker, patch etc soon, please place a separate order!

Thanks

OK, I did my part. Giving is such joy!

Btw, do you accept cash donations to the cause that don't require a purchase?

Thanks to you guys in Chicago for getting it started!

So, far we've sold 18 so far. Not bad for only a couple hours. I was just told it went up on Facebook/Twitter a bit a go so that should get more exposure.

Got your PM.

You should be able to change the shipping address when you make the paypal transaction to a different address than the billing on. Can someone who bought one of these (or is going to buy one of these) confirm this or not? This would be a palpal limitation if it's not an option. A dumb one at that.

If for some reason you can't, drop an email to Kristan (iloveash) who is handling these. She can be reached at store@zombiehunters.org

Yes, you can change the shipping address in the paypal window. I did, since it still held my old address in the City, and i sold that shack...
