A group of ZS members in NY are interested in starting up a chapter, and one of the requirements for starting a chapter is running a charity event; to that end, we've organized and are running an online raffle of some really great ZS-related stuff to benefit the American Red Cross of Northeastern New York, and more specifically their program called, "Save the Day".

Although the raffle to raise funds for this worthy cause and organization (rated 4 stars by Charity Navigator) doesn't officially start until tomorrow, I thought that I'd post it here this morning to give you guys a first look before it goes up on other forums and websites.

Fund-Raiser for the American Red Cross of Northeastern New York "Save-the-Day" Program

There are lots of cool items to win, and through the awesomeness of our group members, every penny that you give, either through buying raffle tickets or donations (both options are available at the url above) will go to ARCNNY, and their wonderful "Save the Day" program (meaning that we will cover all of the PayPal fees so that your generosity goes exactly where it should, to helping people in need, not to PayPal fees).

Check out the raffle-page, feel free to ask me questions, and please either buy some raffle tickets or make an out and out donation through the links on the raffle-page.

Thank you very much!

Jamie

Please check it out guys, pass it along to your friends! As NFA said, EVERY penny goes to a good cause! So help some folks out, get a chance at some very snappy swag, and feel good about yourself for doing it!

I may have to purchase more tickets.

I get paid tomorrow. Good thing I got a raise, more money to spend helping out a great cause! (and the possibility of winning some kick ass prizes)Yay NNY ZS! Good luck!

One thing I didn't see and I probably just missed it but how long do we have to buy tickets and when are you drawing for prizes?

The raffle runs until September 15th, and weirdos living in murder houses are allowed (reluctantly) to buy tickets...

Negatory. Unless I can find the sheath from my stolen one, which I think was like-wise stolen.

Awright, that's fine. I mean, if I get such a pimp-ass piece of kit, sinking a little coin into it is definitely worth it. That thing is so strange looking...but I bet that it's ten kinds of useful.

I had the chance to use OutOfOrder2Days pal at winter camp. It was a neat piece anyone should be glad to have in their kit.

Cheers!
