Not sure if this has been mentioned or not but the ZS fundraiser got plugged on The Zombie Hunters webcomic ( http://www.thezombiehunters.com/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ). Here's hoping we get more donates thanks to Jenny.

Hey Gunny, I may have missed it if you posted a target date for the $5000 goal.

Is there a target date?

What's up ZS?

As of tonight, we have $4,967 raised from 120 donors.

Who wants to be the official badass to throw in the last $33 to push us to the 5000 mark?

Or, be a uber-badass and donate $100 so I can pay for a membership, patch and sticker for you?

C-mon guys, step up and let's make this $5000 goal our bitch :)

Zing!

Well, dunno if anyone beat me to it, but I just threw $33 in the pot, so we should be at goal now.

Yay, ZS!

Why hello my $5033, I'd like you to meet my friend $6,000.

Kyle, in true form, came in one step behind airballrad.

The new $6,000 goal seems a bit high, but screw it, I want to double our previous efforts.

By gathering $6,000, we'll have surpassed both the Katrina and Greensburg drives combined.

Mostly this is to get more aid to those affected, but additionally, this goal proves the evolution of Zombie Squad as a charity organization.

I'm going to push for this new goal, and thanks to our members (who have donated in force, some as many as 3 times) I know we can smack this goal around.

You guys rock, we're going to be able to help a lot of people through your generosity.

Brad

Okay just a little more bragging on ZS.

Our donors put together $5033 in 13 days at an average of $41 per donor.

You all should be proud as hell.

Alright enough kissing up to the donors, I'm off to scare up some more $ for the victims.

Nice work, Gunny. Looks like I owe you a steak and a scotch. See you in a few days!

I need to see if I can scrounge up some more cash.

Morning guys:

As of 10:30cst on 6/10/08 we're at $5168. Let's keep pushing for our $6k mark.

I spoke with Jan today from Save The Children who stated the 3:1 matching was only for the month of may.

However, she mentioned that all of their Myanmar aid workers are citizens of Myanmar and as such, they've been able to dodge a majority of the Junta related issues others have been experiencing.

Our charity kicks ass. Many nods to kyle for picking this one our.

Just an FYI, I'm still offering free zs memberships for every $100 total donation, so kick in a few extra bucks you wouldve blown anyway ;)

I'll be at zombie con from today through sunday, but I'll be keeping everyone updated daily.

C-mon guys, another $832 and we can relax :)

I gave Gunny a $25 check when he stopped by on his way to Z-con. My Pay-Pal was making me nervous to try and use it.
