Wow... I can't imagine what it must have been like to be there when it happened.
What's inside me? I dunno... guts... and black stuff.

Prepare for the future, but live in the "here and now".

That is just such a powerful image, how anyone survived is beyond me.

I posted a blog on my myspace page about this, and linked the site and the pics that Kyle posted. Hope no one minds about that. Just tryin to spread the word.

I've sent mine this morning (May 17th) and I got a conformation email.
I will guess that it did go through with no problem.

As a side note, for those who are in the STLMO area, is the Sunday meeting open to the public, or strictly members only?

Just as a side question then, has there ever been any problems with the area that anyone of ZS has had to deal with?
I am vaguely familiar with the area, and Tower Grove park is a place I and many others have been told to avoid.

Hey! That's my neighboorhood. Whoever told you that, punch them in the nose and steal their wallet. I go to Tower Grove Park all the time.

Just saying that is what I have been told, at least at night. During the day I've heard it's fine, but I've been told stories of cars being left on blocks, completely striped.

Well, I hope to get over there and meet people in person at long last.

Having the opportunity to help those in need blesses those who receive our help. Being part of an organization that promotes being prepared so that we can then help others makes us better people and definitely more fit to call ourselves MEMBERS of the Squad.

If you haven't already joined, what are you waiting for? :D

Greensburg fund raiser will close on Sunday night or until we run out of dog tags. Whichever comes first. We still have 14 dog tags left.

Thanks to everyone who donated!

Hell, Gunny. I'd just give again, but I don't even have enough dough for gas to make it to this month's meeting. That reminds me, I have a credit card payment due...

I've heard lots of people talking about the tornado, and the people who were effected by it, but most of them don't do anything to help ease the suffering...I'm proud to be part of a group that has done something about it :D

Who do I need to talk to in order to make sure my donation went through? Everyone has the ZS Donor thing except me it seems, so I wanted to make sure Paypal didn't eat my donation or anything.
