Hey, all! Just wanted to let you know that the ZS Fleet numbers thread is reopened and I have volunteered to assign numbers! So get on over there, list your details, and let's add you to the skull-thumpin' fleet.

Can a bicycle have a fleet number? My bicycle is more of a BOV than my car is.

kyle's original post did say 'car' but I'll go with the instructions of the higher-ups if they believe bikes fit the bill. :)

I'd certainly vote for inclusion of bicycles. We often have threads here at ZS discussing the inherent advantages of a human-powered vehicle in disaster and/or bug out situations.

Bicycles are recognized by most state laws as a vehicle. If a motorcycle can have a fleet number, so can a single speed fixie

I vote yes to bicycles too.

Mine would be an option for sure in a BO situation.

That was all me, man. I honestly didn't know if bicycles counted, but you raise an important point that I hadn't really considered, and it's been echoed by others. Bicycles are a huge part of many ZSers' plans, not only for general life but including bug outs and the such.

I will rectify my error shortly. :clownshoes:

Well, I *would* go get my number for my new truck... but I'm still waiting for my membership status to get updated...

Methinks I've allowed my ZS membership to lapse and my Fleet Number has been deleted/reassigned, along with the corresponding post.
I've re-upped my membership and, if possible, would like to be reassigned my number.
It was 0450...I waited just to match my .45acp ;)

Thank you.

My Montague folding bike is an "escape pod" or local scout bike for the Suburban, so it seems logical to use a sub-number of the Burb's on it.
ZS-0516a, for instance.

Beowolf, with my lapsed membership my two numbers (325 and 326 IIRC) were probably reassigned. I'm currently intending to rectify the membership issue whenever the ZS Store reopens and would be looking to transfer the 326 number (if it was still assigned to me) to the Jeep we have now.

The up side--numbers don't get reassigned.

The downside--since the forum downness, the vehicle number page is no longer accessible to me (takes me to a login page). I hope it's not gone, though I have the file with all of the numbers shared with me.

Think you could find out what's up with that page? Or does it just require a login each time it's accessed?

Nevermind. Just requires a separate login.

Will go check your numeros shortly.

Sirs,
I need to transfer my Fleet Registration. The Original Bubba Truck has perished and a new one is being built.
ZS-069 is now a 2011 F-250 4x4

The correct fleet markings have been applied!
In the meantime, they can be found on the trucks facebook page which can be found at this link. https://www.bubbatruck.org

And I've just renewed my membership.
