My wife is nagging me pretty hard about buying her one of those. She is very fond of the Nautical Blue Metallic.

Compared to my old one they have made a lot of refinements but the overall layout is not markedly different. I sold my 2005 last Saturday for 53% more that what CarMax offered me.

Now I am getting ready to upgrade the new one with some of the gear I saved from the old one. For instance I had the RadFlo suspension refreshed at the factory and hope to install it in the 2018 4Runner this weekend.

After I sold off the 2005 4Runner I had to start clearing out spare parts and other things that don't work for the 2018 4Runner. Not only do I recover space in the garage but I have cash for other projects!

Sold off a complete 3rd member with an ARB air locker and damaged ring gear, turn signal arm and switch assembly, weight distributing hitch assembly, cig lighter/cubby assembly and swaybar bracket spacers. Almost $500 bucks back in my pocket

Not really my BOV, but I just bought rock sliders and an onboard air compressor for my 2009 Wrangler trail toy. Eventually going to swap out the front axle for a Dana 44 and do ARB air lockers all around.

Added a Warn M8000 and RockHard winch plate to the Jeep last night. My brother's Jeep has been saved by his winch 3 times now so I decided it was worth it.

I upgraded mine from 265/70R17 to 295/70R17 Mastercraft Courser MXT, very happy. BTW, Mastercraft and Cooper are the exact same manufacturer, and Mastercraft are generally cheaper by about $20 from my experience. Wally World had them at $205 each. Got the local NTB to mount them for $28 each.

Roof top carrier box for the Jeep. I have to go pick it up in about an hour. The OEM crossbars to mount it on came via FedEx yesterday.

Been chasin' gremlins with my Cherokee... it sat for about 4 months while I was playing in the arctic. At over 180k miles and 18 years old, sitting is bad news.

Basically I replaced the alternator, serpentine belt, plugs, ignition coil, thermostat sensor, and all fluids.

Still have a rough idle under 2k RPM.
Still have a mysterious and random radiator leak.
Still have a leak in a rear drum brake.
Still can feel my power steering wanting to go.

But ole girl still runs...

Well, I was driving the wife's '97 Dakota out to a friend's place to go break in the new shotgun when it died at the intersection right in front of the Dodge dealer. Took three restarts to get it going well enough to move and it died again on the other side of the intersection. Finally got it started and stabilized some at 1,200 RPM but it still stalled two more times before getting it into the repair bay. 21 year-old truck, you'd think they'd last longer than this. :? :clownshoes:

I went and bought a newer ride for the family. Our 99 Durango has served well, but it is over 300,000 miles on the 5.9 and with 4 kids its not getting any bigger, only smaller.
Upgraded to a 2007 Escalade with low miles and a 6.2. Its a lot of fun to drive, way more room, and has a lot of power to use. Gonna hopefully upgrade the tires soon, maybe some Hankooks or Coopers.
