That looks pretty good man. When you gona throw a lift on it? I need someone to go wheeling with.
Thanks man, I am looking to get one by the end of fall. So with any luck we can do some wheeling when you are back around.

It's not much for a BOV, but it can carry a lot and is fun in 4WD.

It's not really practical anymore as it can't handle child safety seats, and I have one kid with another on the way. But in a true SHTF scenario, I imagine stuffing the kids in the backseat on the jump seats will be good enough.

This is my new ride, the pic was taken at the dealership a few days before I picked it up. I have had it about a month now. 2003 GMC Seirra 4x4; 5.3, 3.73 gearing, just under 19k. I am not going to do too much to it, but I want to do a few things. Upgrades will be the following; spray in bedliner, Access Roll Top, different wheels/tires and install GMC driving lights in the front bumper. I have done a few upgrades to it so far XM radio, Husky floor liners and a class 4 receiver/hitch.

I have been looking around at newer trucks for a month or so prior to buying this and this was the cleanest and nicest used truck I found. It's GM certified so it has a 100,000 powertrain warrenty. As you can see from the pic it is a regular cab, shortbed(sportside/stepside), so it has a very tight turning radius.

My BOV. 79 Bronco, 400 SB, c-6 tranny. My favorite rig. This pic was before 33" TSL's and rust removal. Will start a thread on it's buildup. By the way, for those looking for a BOV, I paid $500 cash for this beast, with 38,000 original miles, and a very good running motor. Just need to look.

This is my BOV and my crew. GMC Yukon XL, 4x4, tow/haul package, cattle catcher, and yes, it will fit my entire crew and their gear and still have enough engine to pull your sad excuse of a BOV.

Carry on.

My BOV

This is my recently purchased vehicle, complete with 4x4 and snow/mud tires. On the back is a swing away pod and I have 1 more roof pod when I need it. Looking into buying a winch now.

Not exactly a road-worthy vehicle, especically when the SHTF, but, it is good for navigating the amazingly large network of ATV trails behind my house.

Time to blame myself.

After driving 4WD since i got my drivers license i switched back to cars that don´t feel like bricks on wheels while driving and get more mpg.

In the background, my last 4WD.

My new(-ish) BOV. The post-storm commute had worn out my Rodeo, and it finally kicked the bucket for good earlier this month. Now me & the bank are proud owners of an ought-six GMC Sierra.
