Hows this For a potential Paw Vehicle

Post by CaptainZ » Thu Aug 17, 2006 11:12 am

I understand that this vehicle would need some serious work and both time and money to make it paw ready, but at this price it would be fun to try..!

460 engine would be hard on fuel - is it a diesel?

The height of the windows is good and you have a front, back, and two window exits... You could also put a roof hatch in pretty easy.

A little weight (harder on gas) on the sides near the bottum may help w/ tipping if a horde gets on ya.

There's things such as THICK chicken wire that could be placed over all windows accept maybe the emrgency exit windows.

Reinforce the front bus door because typically you can open them pretty easy.

Not bad at all for $600 and still running!!!

If you don't like acceleration or manouverability, why not. Only usefull if you are really going to fill that space.

I think what you're talking about is called "expansion mesh".

I just want to know if the shovel and the awful curtains are included.

It is - but a lot of people do not know what expansion mesh is.

eh!

Looks like a real rust bucket.
You now get neighboors that hates you because you park some junk on your yard.
Restoring this junk bus will be a serious, very serious pain in the arse.
Looks nice on pictures, but in real, i'm sure it's awful & you'll probably choose walking instead of this.

my .02 cents

See in in person, and if possible, bring a mechanic. You'll find out whether it's worth fixing, but if there's nothing too bad wrong with it, can't go wrong for the price. Make a good mobile "home base" if nothing else.

Hk33k is right, a diesel would be a better choice. Although, the 460 would have the ease of maint.
