1989 Military Humvee for sale

Post by grennels » Mon Mar 20, 2017 3:53 pm

Not mine. In northwest Ohio. 1989. Looks good. I think around 20,xxx miles. $15,xxx.

If interested let me know. If you are at some distance I could stop and look at it and get more details.

I almost PMed you asking for pics and info- that seems like a GREAT price and I've always wanted one.

But then I thought- 'what the Hell am I going to do with it in a few years when I move to a sparsely populated island with virtually no roads.'

Meh- post pics and info anyway. Somebody (maybe even me) might buy it.

Do you know the seller?

It's on the parking lot of a local diesel repair shop. I'll try and get some pics next day or two.

The owner bought a newer one. He owned this one about a year. I started it up. It sounded ok.
The guy that showed it two me said he's been driving it. It is street legal in Ohio.

I have pics but how do I post them?

You have to put them on a hosting site like imgur or photobucket- but if you email them to me I'll get them on the thread if you don't already have/don't want to create an account.

If not sized right- pretty much. :clownshoes:

I tried to add the [img] tags for you, but the pics are too big to post.

Hyperlinks are perfect!

Thanks!

Taipan: dumb question, are you required to drive RHD vehicles in Australia?

Or in other words- here in the states we drive 'right' and LHD is standard, but RHD vehicles (like a real Land Rover) are 100% 'street legal'.

did you happen to be in american uniform somewhere around Rockhampton, Townsville or Darwin? its not unusual to see humvees and american trucks in those towns during exercises
