The most badass custom zombie hunting rig ever.

I tried to place its make as a massivly modified big rig...however it does just look like they made it from scratch. They had all of the Green's power and resources put into its creation, someting like 2 million dollars etc. Its also very high tech and very well armored.

If only the rest of their vehicles were as well armored...oh well, that aside, the dead reckoning is the most bad ass vehicle I have ever seen in a zombie movie. Only problem is...wha'ts the gas milage on that thing!?

There is no way it could reach canada on one tank. They have to stop somewhere. I heard they're possibly making a sequel to Land that is called "Road of the Dead", though Its probalbly just wishful thinking.

I think it was Optimus Prime, but I'm not 100% on that.

You can always have a lame civilian version... called Winnebago!

Or a FLYING Winnebago!

Hmmm...... I'd guess it's just a reinforced big rig. Obviously, they built a working (except for the guns) version for use in the movie.

Well, it at least looks like it was build on a Semi-tractor and trailer frame. It's undoubtably a custom build up from that. There's no cab design that is even close to what they have.

It has to be Optimus Prime in disguise, he and the other autobots have come in vehicle form to help the humans of Fiddler's Green. I mean come on, it's just that obvious, how else could they have such an awesome big rig type thing?

I am guessing you are wondering what kind of chassis it was built on. Could be a number of manufacturers; Mack, Peterbuilt, Sterling and a few more. From the pic I was trying to pick out the number of axles on it. At work our largest truck six axles with a extra frost axle, this is on a Thor chassis. It's pretty hard to say, someone built it off a very large chassis.

It looks to me like its built on a Kenworth based on its general shape, chasis with a shit-ton of plastic cosmetics added on to it of course.

The trailer could easily be a 26 foot "wiggle wagon" likewise decorated with plastic cosmetics.

Personally, i am wondering why the hell they put so much texture (things to grab on to) on that thing. If i were to make one, i would make it smooth on the outside, nothing to grab onto for the deadies. And of course, make matching smaller vehicles for it, in case of an emergency. Like needing a small quick thing to go get fuel

Well, it was built in the PAW so maybe they didn't have the right stuff to make it smooth? It could have ben hurriedly built? Who knows, but I'm sure there's SOME kind of explanation that we'll never know.

i would put it as some sort of Big rig. but watching the ending got me thinking about something similar using a greyhound bus. naturally they have a high center of gravity/windows. a ton of storage in the bottom. in a PAW they have some potential for living in if needed. and with only 1-2(easily accessible) entrances it should be easy to barricade. i was talking to a guy that drives one and we got to talking about the specs of one and it had ridiculously high amounts of torque so i don't think a few zombies would slow it down.

I think, a big rig with the fiberglass cab removed dragging an 14 to 18 foot trailor. Build up a new cockpit and body with sheet metal. They may have limited the pintel movement to make it look more solid as a 1 piece unit.
Macgyver used bamboo, mud and swamp gas to make bombs. When I tried it, I made a mess.

You could limit the steering to get the same effect. I think there's no doubts that it's a semi-tractor and trailer.

You can clearly see that dually wheels have left marks in the rain behind the trailor. Those are tires, not tracts.

It is def a tractor trailor combo. The cockpit area fits perfectly with the driverseat, the area behind that is the sleeper area. There is then a break between the sleeper and the trailor for play when turning and the ass end is a small trailor. The nose was built forward.

And it wouldn't use gasoline. It will use diesel.

We SHOULDN'T have to be arguing that fact. Some people are insisting that they're right tho when everything else says they aren't.

the fact is, unless a sequel is made which details their trip to canada, with this gas guzzling extermination vehicle as the center of the conflict. I doubt that we will ever know any real details.

In the sequel, the Zombies attend MIT and construct their own Dead Reckoning, and when it kills other vehicles they die and rise again into the undead cars and trucks. I hate smart zombies.
