I too am reevaluating my purchase places. Mostly on the criteria of their political philosophy. I won't spend money or advocate for money to be spent to a company that does not support a "make America great again" philosophy.

No more Rescue Essentials. Gotta support more smaller American centric locations. Will not buy there again. Ever.

Found out a little more of their history, political beliefs, didn't jive with my own. The whole "everyone is entitled to everything" , cops are the bad guys, and openly supporting dissemination of the countries wealth without the workload, again a no no , and supporting trumps death, is a no go. Sorry.

The other, of course, involves orcs."

Re: Where to Buy Medical Products: The Definitive Thread
Hello,
As a civilian contractor Rescue Essentials is my go to source of TC3 type medical supplies for the past 7 years. Just recently I placed a couple orders with them to replace expired items and upgrade to Gen 7 CAT tourniquets in my personal IFAK and MARCH PAWS (combat lifesaver kit) fanny pack. Everything arrive in under 14 days to my APO with the correct customs documentation.
Cheers,
W-W

I amend my earlier comment, you're a piece of crap.

Maybe you could save it for PMs. You are responding to two month old comments and not providing useful commentary anyhow.JohnE wrote:[quote="I

And try something other than the Kung Fu Monkey clichés. If you are a bookish 14, try some of the other stuff that isn't about money and orcs. Equality 7-2521 could get you back on track.Another cowardly, hit and run attempt to slander a perfectly good company. I amend my earlier comment, you're a piece of crap.

Gun shows have turned out to be a great source for me. Large volumes of USGI supplies get rotated out and despite the "expiration" dates a lot of the items are good to go.
For instance, the water purification tabs in the IFAKS actual expiration dates always seem to be good for one to two more years past the date on the kits.
Combat tourniquets, SAM splints, EMT shears, gauze and other non adhesive bandaging are always good.
Keep an eye out!

I've seen a good amount of 1st Aid stuff at local gun shows before, but I haven't been to a gun show in over a decade. Maybe longer. Once I saw the same aid bag that I carried when I was RA. Unfortunately, I did not have the man's money at the time. It was packed just like I received it.teotwaki wrote:Gun shows have turned out to be a great source for me. Thats a good point brewmiester, and thank you Woods Walker that definitely makes more sense to place it there now that I think about it.
I didnt really look at the boo boo stuff, I just saw the pressure bandages and elastic bandages and figured with the extra stuff plus the bonus pouch, itd be a good deal to throw onto my ALICE. I did a few years as a medic in the guard so my trauma and boo boo stuff are going to be separate, the trauma stuff would go in this pouch while the boo boos would go elsewhere. Ill look into the adventure medical kits, IF I do get the strikehardgear kit, Ill post a review here.

shopmedvet.com was mentioned previously, but might want to (pardon the pun) checkout their liquidation and Black Friday sales that are still going on. Went there is morning because they had dog muzzles on sale (Amazon price $48, ShopMedVet price $26) and finally stopped myself when the cart was over $100. It's going to be a big box
Lots of wound care supplies, some deep discounts on sterile kits/trays/instruments/supplies being sold as non-sterile now due to being beyond the package expiration date.
