Study on Tourniquets and Hemostatic Agents

Post by Langenator » Wed Dec 09, 2015 11:07 am

on another forum I learned about a study the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration published, the full title of which is Efficacy of Prehospital Application of Tourniquets and Hemostatic Dressings to Control Traumatic External Hemorrhage.

Quite a mouthful.

It includes an extensive study of use of tourniquets of various designs, and various hemostatic agents, in emergency/trauma care.
