Does anyone have any experience with the med kit from Strike Hard Gear? Thinking about picking it up to put on the side of my ALICE pack. Looks like it would be a good solid addition, just add a few things and it should be good to go, plus it coming with a pouch already is a nice bonus.

I am going to move this to the First Aid forum as it might get more attention there. Will leave a shadow in the Bug Out Gear forum.

No experience with the company, but if it was myself spending the money, I would pick up an Adventure Medical Kit's .5 or .7 from their ultralight line (for one, you're getting a bit more stuff at a better bang for your buck). Because boo boo stuff aren't life-threatening, I don't see a point in keeping it in a separate pouch on the exterior of a pack-- it just adds unnecessary weight. Plus, stuff like that ACE wrap and ABD pads, I'd keep with the rest of my trauma gear in a separate area.

That's a good point brewmiester, and thank you Woods Walker that definitely makes more sense to place it there now that I think about it.
I didn't really look at the boo boo stuff, I just saw the pressure bandages and elastic bandages and figured with the extra stuff plus the bonus pouch, it'd be a good deal to throw onto my ALICE. I did a few years as a medic in the guard so my trauma and boo boo stuff are going to be separate, the trauma stuff would go in this pouch while the boo boos would go elsewhere. I'll look into the adventure medical kits, IF I do get the strikehardgear kit, I'll post a review here.
