Spank Your Tomatoes! Get More Fruit on Every Plant Some tomato tips from SeedsNow.

It's time to give your tomatoes a little "spanking" in terms of: care and encouragement. Find out how to make sure that all of those tiny flowers get the proper pollination they need to produce fruit.

With the bee population down there's no harm in helping your tomato plants produce as much fruit as they can! You'll be surprised with the results.

On our Facebook page, Joshua wrote, "... tried it this season and I have to say I had the biggest tomato harvest this year that I have ever had."

Yes, these tips really do work!

This little floor plan programme, Edraw Floor Plan Maker (which has a garden shapes library), might be useful planning a garden -- especially a patio, balcony, solarium, or greenhouse. It's being offered free for the next two days.

I've played with it for a while to plot my patio garden (I took measurements a few months ago) and it's useful (and fun) and an efficient alternative to doing it by hand with graph paper.

I'm glad this got bumped - I'm looking at getting a small plot planted in my yard for the first time this coming spring. Roughly a 4x8' plot (may have a separate flower pot with some herbs in it too) that gets ~6 hours of direct sun.

Region is kind of a funky one, right on the borders, could be 6a - 7a. Was thinking about cucumbers, zucchini or sweet potatoes
