So, I'm in the market for containers on the cheap, but free would be better. Planted my garden, but got to ambitious/had to much fun with the seed trays.
What's some ideas for recycled materials, or cheap containers? Be mindful, the wife wouldn't like anything too junky

My dad started with 5 gallon buckets. I have used those in the past too.

Firehouse subs sells pickle buckets for just a few dollars with the proceeds going to firemen type charities...

So, Update if anyone else is wondering. I went to a nursery, and asked if they had any plain, plastic containers I could buy. They directed me to the dumpster and said I could have what I wanted.
And wow! I got probably 30 1-2 gallon conatiners, and 3 that are larger than 5 gallon. So FYI

The store I work at sells black plastic containers that our floral dept receives the bouquets in. Some stores give them away, ask the floral dept. at a local grocery or check out local florists.

You don't need no stinkin' buckets for container gardening. CanYAlove.org has tons of great ideas from sack gardens, to vericle growing cyclinder and hanging gardens of non-Babylonian water bottles.
