Lots of members on that end of town. I added you to the ZSC:014 section - you will get more locals to see your question if you post there.obsidian wrote:Moving to Houston(Humble area) next week looking for a group to join that has get togethers, training etc. Any ideas?
What sort of training are you looking for?
Don't confuse a belligerent and aggressive attitude with the strength, training, and conditioning needed to prevail in a fight. How do you know you have the Will To Win, if you don't even have the will to train?
Re: Texas!!!
Gun training, im a woman i do go to the range occasionally but i wanna learn more about different kinds loading, cleaning, upkeep. I dont own i gun yet but my dream gun is the ps90!
Re: Texas!!!
I'm a geographically challenged Texan (Texan who moved) and will be returning home in June to visit family in the dallas area. I'm trying t o find information about any local zombie squad members in Memphis or Nashville (anyone in the state of Tennessee would be nice) but people don't seem to be very active here.
Is there anyone in the dallas area (or group of anyone's) I can meet with during the 2nd week of June to learn more about
1.) what you do.
2) how you do it
3) where you meet.
4) how you are involved in the community
Feeling frustrated. And kind of glad zombies haven't invaded Memphis- or the whole city would be gone by now.

Shit! I've been a member for like 4 years and have completely missed this thread. Yes, ZS19 is the DFW local chapter, and Arrowolf's quite involved. I think they're planning a meetup in June.JudoMomma wrote:I'm a geographically challenged Texan (Texan who moved) and will be returning home in June to visit family in the dallas area. Heading over to the DFW area from Houston this Sunday, planning to stay somewhere till Monday morning and trailer a jeep back. Only planning to visit surplus stores, anything i should not miss?
Re: Texas!!!
I think you'll be there the right dates if you feel the urge to go to Canton Trade Days. It's about an hour from Dallas, I believe. Might be worth checking into.tinythief wrote:Heading over to the DFW area from Houston this Sunday, planning to stay somewhere till Monday morning and trailer a jeep back. Every cloud has a silver lining. Except the mushroom-shaped ones which have a lining of Iridium and Strontium-90.

Re: Texas!!!
I'm heading to 5808 Elliott Reeder Road, Fort Worth, TX 76117 to get my jeep. Seems to be northeast of FW, not sure of which stores to stop at tho.
Edit for date
Leaving Houston this Sunday afternoon/evening and expected to arrive at night at FW. Leaving FW on Monday afternoon with jeep on trailer.
