As said before, I'm definitely in. However, google maps had an aneurysm looking for that location - got a more real-er one?

Okay, back online after another couple of phone calls to the ISP. Grrrrrr. 'Nuff about that.

Okay, the CHL/CCW Training will actually be in THORNTON, Colorado; sorry for the confusion. Many thanks to Jvandenhaus for posting this thread for me in the absence of an internet connection today; I probably should have taken the marbles out of my mouth before trying to talk with him, though! :-S

If we want to make the February 15th date, we will need a firm headcount by end of day tomorrow (around 1700-1800-ish). For those I don't see posts from, I will drop a quick phone call. If this date doesn't work, please let me know ASAP!

Thanks,

Dirt_Napper

All-

I have submitted the ProFireUSA registration for the February 15th, 2009 CCW training. We have 9 spots thus far, but they have allowed us to add additional spots if there is still interest. The cost of the class will be $128.00 (includes $99.00 for the CO & UT training, plus $29.00 for UT permit photo, fingerprinting, and submission). Those who I have included in the training are:

Dirt_Napper + 1
Rowan + 1
Madwolf + 1
Squirrley
Firestorm
Paladyne

Let me know if there are any corrections to be mad to this list, or if you are interested in participating. Once I have the e-mail containing additional information, I will forward on via e-mail.

All,

I'll be posting instructions and directions this weekend for next weekend's COZS CHL/CCW training. I'll also be contacting the instructor tomorrow, so if we have any adds, let me know ASAP, and I'll communicate these on.

Just try not to shoot Dirtnapper, I need him for a road trip to Gunsite.

Seriously though, the FA class we all just took was harder than the CHL class. You'll be fine, just keep your mouth shut and listen. You already know most of it anyway, but it will go faster that way.

I, on the other hand, am going to the North site and do some REAL shooting ;). Good luck all, I'm looking forward to associating with an armed COZS.

PS, don't let Madwolf take anything apart! But do make sure to make appreciative noises over his new hogleg.

Just checking in to ensure that everyone has what they need for tomorrow's training class. I'll be available tonight at (edited out), or tomorrow on my mobile at (edited out), if anyone has any questions or needs. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

I apologize for the lateness of the request, but I've been wrestling for control of my computer with the .Vundo trojan and its friends for the past several days, so I've been unable to check the boards or my email. :/

I understand one of the things we need to bring is a handgun in a case. I don't have a handgun to bring (yet.) Would anybody be willing to loan me one for the day? I'd be willing to pack an extra sandwich for the nice person who helps me out.

Thanks!

Paladyne: several extras will be brought along for those bereft of hardware. Also, in case of shortage, we can share pistols while in the class, there is no requirement for everyone to have one at the same time. Worse comes to worse, you can borrow one for the time we'll be handling them.

All the rest of you: See ya in the morning!
