I figure I'm going to wait for it to go on sale, but I'm still curious.

I played the beta and it was such a relaxing experience compared to the frantic chaos of BF4/BF3. But I'm still plugging away at BF4 with all my spare time, so not yet at least.

There's lots of videos on YT if you want to see some BF1 gameplay.

You're probably right, I can't explain why it was 'relaxing'. But watching YT vids of it still seem slower.

Maybe it was because the beta didn't count, or I wasn't trying to unlock anything, complete any assignments, maintain my world rankings, etc.

But also the animations for reloading, moving, climbing, getting in and out of vehicles, etc, seemed slower and/or more detailed, so it felt slower, which translated into less frantic, which equals relaxing compared to BF4/BF3.


Anyhow, missed a sale at target for $35ish this week, but it looks like its going on sale Black Friday for $35. So I might buy it then.

What do you like best about it? Are you specializing in anything? Some of the reviews have the classes being more specialized and less able to do or take on stuff that the other classes can do.
