Hmm... This looks like a hoot...

How much is a 360 running these days? Or a ps3, whatever...

I've always been shit with consoles, but this might be worthwhile...

It's easily the first game in years that I've bothered to make time to hang out with my step-bro and play on the 360. (We hang out regularly, I hate consoles) It's pretty awesome. The controls never changed for the most part from GTA3 on the PS2, so it's easy to pick back up. I still suck compared to playing on PC, but man it's fun, especially the planes and helicopters. It's also just so obviously enormous when you're flying over it.

Well, I finally got GTA Online to work tonight for more than 5 minutes, and well, I only really have one thing to say.

If I wanted to play with a bunch of dicks, I'd have gone into gay porn. No longer interested.

Tolerate it for a bit and they go away. Rockstar is brialliant, if you go after other players they eventually make you only play with other dicks. It doesn't take long either. It carries over server to server. I'd say.. since level 6 I haven't had any trouble. At level 10 someone stole my car but I found him, killed his ass and took my car back.

In that 5 minutes I was camped on and killed 3 times trying to leave ammu-nation, then run over a couple times while on a motorcycle trying to get to a mission. I dunno about it, just seems like it's a big dickfest to me so far. I'd love to be able to get on a server where everyone acts like something other than 5 year olds.

My brother and I started a crew with two other people we often play games with. Sure not a lot of us, but now we can enter freemode with just the crew. Completely eliminates the dick problem.

I'd do the ps3. I have both, ps3 doesn't have a monthly fee like xbox live (so you can get netflix instant view crap and only pay the $7 for that, and not an additional whatever for xbox live). Ps3 does have less connectivity/servers/ie 'harder' matchmaking it seems. Either way, if $270 is something you can afford you'd have a blueray player, a way to stream netflix (if you have wireless), and soon to be cheaper games once the new consoles come out. Go ahead and buy this thing and skyrim and you are good for about 5 years on gameplay

I actually did the other day... My first console...

Decent, although I seriously suck with the controller.

And priuses shouldn't oversteer like that...

Today's GTA Online lesson learned:

If you're grabbing a new car, and you want to replace one of the other cars in your garage with it, DO NOT MOD IT FIRST.

Once you bring it to your garage and replace one, it will return to stock and you'll lose all the cash you spent on the mods.

****.

Yep, I did that one yesterday too. Thinking I'd get the tracker free and then insure it at the mod shop. Bam, insta $50, 000 wasted... sold it for some money back lol.

Yep. I had the same plan. Sent a glitch note to Rockstar, got the canned "download the latest update" response. Feh.

Online play is better now. Rockstar is giving out $500,000 to online players sometime this month. Was thinking of making a zombie squad crew. Join up if you see it. You got to make a account on the rockstar social club site.... nevermind. the name already exists. looks like there are a lot of zombie squad crews....

They released another update and it has halved the amount of cash you get for completing all missions.
