Hi, i see this backpack in the ares armor site and have a question, anyone knows how many others manufacturers make similar products?
Because I need a good backpack, but its necessary a way to access fast the equipment inside. And I like to attach my backpack in the molle vest like this.

Thanks for the help.

It is an intriguing design. As the site says it would really have to be for short range patrols. Not sure how well it would work. Interesting thou.

Look for the:
Eagle Modular Assault Pack
TAG Molle Assault Pack
TAG Combat Sustainment Pack
Camelback Linchpin

Camelback Linchpin
Does your BOB at least have: water, basic tools, fire, food, first-aid kit, and shelter?

The weakest part of that system is relying on plastic clips to secure the pack to the vest. Weight of minimal significance or catching the pack on a door will result in a busted clip. (And, yes, I've broken the male part of those clips more than once.)

Excellent point! Always good to hear about real life applications and shortfalls of gear and systems.ODA 226 wrote:The weakest part of that system is relying on plastic clips to secure the pack to the vest.
