Not here. It's a show and tell thread. PM your high-speed advice if you feel it's necessary.

Now. In keeping with the rules of this thread...a moto-pic from my bachelor party

Image

Numbers, I dig your rig. Rock on.
This was an awesome day! And omega taught me the nicety of a chest rig (still on my to-get list...however, I'm more than efficient with a hip holster). Anyways, to keep with the rules:

Here's me sportin' a (half-finished) home-made ghillie-suit
Image

But this is about as mall ninja as I get:
Image

Crap, wrong pic...

Just doin' some "glamour shots" in the house...S&W Sigma with an Insight Weaponlight (the only one made for that crappy rail design) and a Spec-Ops Over-Armour rig...

Image

Woodland Cammied Up, with my old go-to, the LBV-88 (this was improved over the Ranger Rack Vest by having the mag pouches slanted, to be more "ergonomic"). Weapon is my go to CQB Boom-stick, 870 Marine Magnum, with SF dedicated Fore-end. (before the haters chime-in, I would never shoot a stubby in that manner...unless I wanted a broken jaw/black eye...)

Image

Same Get-up, but with my Double-Star AR-15, w/ SF M600 scout light (now an M961 took it's place)

Image

ACU Get-up with my DS

Image

Here's me kicking it along side Omega Man...we came in second...not bad, considering I'm Air Force ( :clownshoes: ), and I ended up shooting irons instead, since the silencer wouldn't register on the shot timer:

Yup, sandal knife! You can grab the knif in one hand and the sandal on the other hand as a shield/throwable blunt object. ...Damnit! Just realized the best part of the piture got clipped.

Thanks Doc, that old Chinese chest rig works pretty well for just loading mags and small stuff, very light. The old alice gear is what I was trained with so all the new high speed stuff seems a bit off to me wearing it. The Ak is my current favorite, its a Amd65 that I built, its light, tight and accurate.

Love the old school tiger stripe...where can I get a decent set? That's close to mil-spec quality?

So, I'm tempted to jump on that deal at GvX for the Shellback Tactical Banshee plate carrier.

Quesrion for the brain trust... Ranger Green, Coyote Tan, or A-Tacs?

Tempted to just keep it simple and go with green. Kinda works with everything...

If yer limited to one basic AO, then A-Tacs for sure...that's on my to-get list for sure, once the prices go down/availability opens up. But, I also like the idea of a simple green...only problem, you become a green "blob"...

My thinking about green is that it kind of works everywhere... kinda works in the forest, kinda works in arid areas like where I live...

A-Tacs sure as hell works in arid areas... anyone know how it works in the woods?

BTW if there's a better thread for this, feel free to point me in the right direction...

Depends on the woods and just how much greenery is around. The A-tacs Fg works very well in woods with some green, the tan not as well, just too light.

I agree, works well at night too. Not to dark.

Some leafs and branches it works even in the fall.

I guess, it would not be good in the desert but hey, it's od so you look cool too.

Every time I see a drop leg set up, (never was a fan myself) it brings to mind a training class years ago. We get there, about 50 of us and the new drop leg was all the rage. Everyone had way too much shit on and to address this we went on a 5 mile run in our gear. People were carrying drop legs in their hands after the second mile. Second day, same thing. Third day, not a drop leg in the house and way less gear. Good times.
