1911/BHP holster?

Post by Doryman » Sun Sep 18, 2016 11:52 am

1)I currently have a Ruger SR1911.
2) I'm in the market for a Browning Hi-Power.
3) I'm setting up a 'battle belt' and need a holster.
4) I'm a cheap bastard.

With all those factors combined, I've decided to test the waters to see if there are any holsters out there that can securely hold a 1911 OR a BHP. I'd like something that I could somehow hook up to an HSGI Suregrip padded belt, so obviously anything molle compatible is good to go. I'd like a drop leg, but that isn't a disqualifying factor.

An M12 holster should work. Otherwise, the UM-84 says it would meet your needs.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep an eye out for the UM-84.

Sorry guys, I should have mentioned that I'm Canadian. Might be some issues with shipping.

If not, though, that is a damn good price!

Since you're Canadian, this holster is made from beaver tail leather.

I prefer the Safariland ALS series of holsters. They are available for 1911's and are not available for BHP.

Condor has a fairly cheap adjustable holster that is MOLLE. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BX ... UTF8&psc=1 I actually picked one up for my 1911 to put on my INCH pack waist belt. While it might not be the best high quality holster, it is decent quality cheap one, plus being adjustable it will fit multiple different pistols plus can adapt to laser and light mounts.
