nice set of knife, but that the Northwoods Burnside Jack that attracted my attention i'm not sure why, but it sure is a neat little folder.

Same reason I bought it. No real reason, but it just sort of called to me. Very classy knife in a timeless design. It finds its way into my pocket on a daily basis now at work. I get much fewer dirty looks pulling out that knife to cut open an envelope or cut up an apple in the office than when I flick open a tactical folder!

Here's one that used to be kept in my truck for cutting duct board, but now resides in my desk as a letter opener:

Personally, I think duct knives like this make great fixed blades for field use. Cheap enough that you don't care if it gets lost, strong enough to put up with abuse, and a choice of regular or serrated edges.

I KNEW better. I knew it was a bad idea, and I went and looked in this thread anyway. And I can actually HEAR the money vacuuming out of my bank account as I drool over these blades.

Well, at least I can pass on a nice knife collection along with the crushing debt I am about to acquire...

That's a sick knife Azrael. Must be a bitch to sharpen though being D2 and a recurve like that.

Got a new knife from Martin knives in texas, I've always liked hollow handle knives just because. I had a original Lile knife back in the 80s but it was stolen. So I picked up this Surv9 from Martin knives, 9 inch blade s35vn steel, beautiful grinds and balance.
