Nazz's Highway of Heroes ride and Funeral was yesterday. The weather was amazing, the turnout of people on the highway overpasses from Toronto to Niagara falls was impressive. Just about every bridge had fire engines, ambulances, police cars and ordinary people waving flags. The funeral was attended by some 400 people with more people lining the streets outside. The service itself was wonderful and heartfelt. When the church portion was over and the casket was being taken outside for burial, a group of several hundred school children from a nearby school lined the road waving flags and sang the national anthem. The North Wall Riders and Canadian Heroes Foundation were amazing. here are some photos.

That is amazing. And deserved. I wish more of the fallen fighters could get the honor they deserve.
