Generators! I rigged up an external charger with an Anderson PowerPole plug so as to maintain the Yamaha's starter battery without having to unbolt the covers.

Yeah! All of those blasted deer ticks that crawl out to the ends of the branches hoping to snag unwary hikers.

Needed to get fitted for a respirator for work (as protection against dangerous pandemics) and for volunteer work (dealing with thick smoke in a wildfire setting) The testing part (negative pressure respirator) involves connecting up the respirator to a machine which samples particles inside and outside the mask. Then you have to talk, move your head, move your body and do different styles of breathing to ensure a good seal.

Bore sighted my new scope for my Savage .270, and did a lot of maintenance to my newest deer blind.

I paid $25 for it last year, first time I've used it...

I reaffirmed that I do have earthquake coverage on my renter's policy (HO-4).

Quake Insurance? California Wants People To Say Yes To Coverage

Yes, I'm in Iowa. :D Working on flood insurance, but knowing the limitations of flood coverge & being above ground-level, it's lower on the list.

Very cool! It all makes good sense and I appreciate the details. I've just never heard about it before so I like learning about these things
